Baden-Wüttemberg is one of the states of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is located on the southwestern part of the country. Baden-Wüttemberg is bordered by Bavaria to the east, Hesse to the north, Rhineland Palatinate to the northwest, France to the west and Switzerland to the south.

The ICE high-speed train gets you from Frankfurt Railway Station to Stuttgart Railway Station within an hour. You can also take the ICE to other cities in Baden-Württemberg including Freiburg, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Ulm.
Apart from driving, the train is the most practical option for exploring Baden-Württemberg. The state has an excellent rail network serving even the more remote areas.
