Bath Abbey, Bath
Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church in Bath, Somerset, England. Officially known as the Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Bath Abbey traces its history to the 7th century, when King Osric allowed the establishment of a convent in Bath.
Bath Abbey has been built and rebuilt a few times down the centuries. It is cruciform in plan, and can accommodate 1,200 people at a time. Today it is used for both religious services as well as secular civic ceremonies.
