Burnham-on-Crouch is a town in Maldon district, on the southeastern part of Essex, England. Located on the north bank of the River Crouch, it has a population of 8,000 people (2012 estimate). The town is so name to differentiate it from Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset.

Being the main town on the Dengie peninsula, Burnham-on-Crouch has local facilities such as cinema, post office and other amenities. It also has a number of historic buildings that have been listed. The River Crouch is a popular water sports venue, particularly for yacht racing. The town hosts a sailing event called Burnham Week on the last week of August every year.

Take the A127 road heading east out of London until Nevendon. There, take a left turn at the roundabout and head north on the Nevendon Road (A132), past Wickford, then continue on Burnham Road (B1012) until you reach the town.
