Chain Hotels offer the most assured standard of hospitality among the different types of accommodation providers in Germany. They include the well-known international chains such as Hilton, Holiday Inn, Inter-Continental, Mercure and Hyatt Regency, or the local German chains such as Kempinski and Vier Jahreszeiten (that's Germany's Four Seasons chain).
A double-room at a two-star chain hotel such as IBIS, which is found in many cities in Germany, costs around €75. For more facilities and a two- to three-star quality, go for Best Western and hotels of the Sorat group. At the top end are chains such as Kempinski and Vier Jahreszeiten.
