Family Hotels in France
Family Hotels are family-run, family-oriented accommodation providers that you can find in virtually any town and village in France. They are really created to support local needs of French families with children visiting another town in their country, but they are just as likely to welcome you.
The family hotel may well be the main watering hole of a village. It may have a bar and perhaps restaurant patronized by the locals. This is a good place to spend the night, if you're going from town to town in some rural part of France. Do not expect the accommodation to be on par with established chain hotels. Be happy to lodge in the company of the locals. If anything, the room rates should be adequate compensation.
