More on Granada

Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of three rivers - the Beiro, the Darro and the Genil. It is about an hour from the Mediterranean coast, but as it is 738 meters above sea level, it enjoys a slightly cooler climate.

Perhaps the most famous sight in the city is the Moorish citadel of the Alhambra, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Granada is a city with lots to see and explore. I would recommend that you spend at least two days here.
