Grimentz is a small rustic village in Sierre district, in Valais canton, Switzerland. A cluster of village houses surrounded by the mountains, Grimentz covers 58.4 sq km (22.5 sq mi) and has a population of less than 400 people (2011 estimate).

The history of Grimentz goes back to 1052, when it was mentioned the first time. Today Grimentz is predominantly French-speaking. The people are mostly farmers with the majority belonging to the Roman Catholic church.
On 1 January 2009, Grimentz merged with neighboring Ayer, Chandolin, Saint-Jean, Saint-Luc and Vissoie to form the municipality of Anniviers.
