Heathfield is a small town in the district of Wealden, in East Sussex, England. It is about midway between Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne, being about 26 km (16 mi) from each.

The town of Heathfield dates back hundreds of years. The original village is now called Old Heathfield, and is part of the present town. Heathfield received its market charter in 1316 from King Edward II. In the 16th century it prospered from iron.
