Larnaca (Greek: Λάρνακα) is the third largest city in Cyprus after Nicosia and Limassol. Located on the southern coast of the island, it has a population of 72,000 people (2011 estimate). The city is today a commercial port and tourist destination. It is also home to the largest airport in Cyprus.

The city during ancient times was known as Kition. The city is prone to earthquake, having suffered a number of them over the ages.

- Acropolis
Situated at the top of a hill, immediately behind the Archaeological Museum, the acropolis is yet another of Larnaca's archaeological sites. - Agia Faneromeni
A subterranean chapel that probably dates back to the Phoenician period. The chapel is famous for its healing properties, with many sick devotees having been cured after performing a ritual of circling it twice and then leaving behind a scrap of clothing or a lock of hair. - Agios Lazaros Church (Church of St Lazarus)
Church in Old Larnaka built in the early 10th century. Its design reveals eastern and western architectural elements. - Amphitheater
This open-air arena is still being used for performances, particularly during the July Festival. - Aqueduct
