Ledbury is a town on the eastern part of Herefordshire, England. The town has some of the finest timber-framed houses in England, particularly along Church Lane and High Street. It has a population of around 10,000 people (2012 estimate), and is a thriving market town.

The history of Ledbury goes back to AD 690. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as Liedeberge. The town probably took its name from the River Leadon which flows through it. It was home to English poetess Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and was the birthplace of poet laureate John Masefield.

Industrialization arrived in Ledbury in the form of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal in 1798. Part of the canal was replaced by the Ledbury and Gloucester Railway in 1885, though the remaining parts northwards towards Hereford is still visible today.
