Nailsworth is a small town in Stroud Valley, in Gloucestershire, England. The town lies on the Nailsworth Stream, at the confluence of the Avening Valley with the Woodcester Valley. It has a population of around 5,000 people (2012 estimate).

The history of Nailsworth goes back to ancient times. It has always been a small town or village. Nailsworth only began to develop in the 19th century, when mills were built here, and it became a center for the brewing industry. There was service here from 1867 until 1947 but has since been discontinued.

From London, take the M40 motorway until Exit 8, then continue west on the A40 road, passing Oxford. Arriving at Cheltenham, take the A46 road south. You will arrive in Nailsworth after you pass Stroud.
