More on Nailsworth

The history of Nailsworth goes back to ancient times. It has always been a small town or village. Nailsworth only began to develop in the 19th century, when mills were built here, and it became a center for the brewing industry. There was service here from 1867 until 1947 but has since been discontinued.

Today Nailsworth is a quiet, charming English town. It holds a farmers' market on the fourth Saturday of every month, and stages an annual Nailsworth Festival.
