Port Antonio, Jamaica
Port Antonio is a town on the northeastern coast of Jamaica. It serves as the administrative center for the parish of Portland. The town has a population of 15,000 people (2011 estimate) within a parish with 90,000 inhabitants. Port Antonio is one of the main seaports of Jamaica with most of its exports being agriculture produce such as bananas and coconuts.

Port Antonio was founded in the 1880s when banana plantations were started in the area. The town received a tremendous boost when it was featured in a number of Hollywood movies. The town received much publicity when actor Errol Flynn ran aground on his yacht, the USS Zaca. Flynn grew so attached to the area that he bought a private island and a hotel in the area, bringing a string of celebrities to the area.
