Puerto Barrios is a city on the Gulf of Honduras in eastern Guatemala. It serves as Guatemala's main seaport to the Caribbean Sea. The city has a population of about 42,000 people (2011 estimate).

Puerto Barrios was founded in 1884 and named after President Justo Rufino Barrios. It is situated in a bay, the Bahia de Amatique, which opens into the Gulf of Honduras. The city is 297 km (185 mi) to the northeast of Guatemala City.
