Riehen, Switzerland
Riehen is a small city within Basel-Stadt canton, one of three municipalities of the canton. Located to the northeast of downtown Basel, Riehen has managed to preserve its charming Old Town with lovely country houses. Covering 10.86 sq km (4.19 sq mi), on an elevation of 278 m (912 ft), Riehen has a population of 21,000 (2011 estimate).
