Sierre (German: Siders) is a small town in Valais canton, Switzerland. It is the capital of the eponymous district. Covering 19.2 sq km (7.4 sq mi), it has a population of 16,000 people (2011 estimate).

Being on the border between the French- and German-speaking parts of Valais, Sierre is one of the three officially bilingual towns in Switzerland. The French-speaking community form the majority in Sierre.

Today the town of Sierre is surrounded by vineyards. There are a number of historic buildings in town, including a 16th century castle. The biggest employer is the aluminium industry. Aluminium smelting has been an important economic activity in Sierre since the beginning of the 20th century. The power station in Sierre is today a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
