Toggenburg is a pristine valley and hiking destination in St Gallen canton, Switzerland. It stretches north-south from Wilto Wattwil, then continues eastwards, a total of 45 kilometers.

The Toggenburg valley is hemmed in by high peaks, among them Säntis (2,502.9 m, 6,631ft), Churfirsten (2,306 m, 7,566 ft)) and Speer (1,950 m, 6,398 ft). To the north is the Alpstein massif while to the south the Churfirsten range, with many jagged peaks.

The scenery in Toggenburg can often be called breathtaking. Visitors to the area can go hiking or mountain miking. There are some 300 km of hiking trains in the area, often linking small, rustic villages of the valley.

Toggenburg is about an hour by road from Zürich Airport and Lake Constance. There are trains servicing the Wil-Nesslau route and St Gallen Rapperswil-Wattwil route.
