Toulouse is a city in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France. It is the fourth biggest city in the country behind Paris, Marseille and Lyon. It is also the 5th largest metropolitan area in the country after Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille. Toulouse has a population of 440,000.

Going to Toulouse
Toulouse Blagnac International Airport (TLS) is the main international gateway to the city. From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus to downtown Toulouse for €5.00. The same journey by taxi costs €20.00.
You can also ride the TGV high-speed train from Paris to Toulouse in 5 hours, or regular trains in 7 hours 30 minutes. Bordeaux is two and a half hours away while Marseille is 4 hours away by TGV. To buy cheap TGV tickets, go to the iDTGV website.
