Uckfield is a town in the district of Wealden, in East Sussex, England. It is located on the River Uck, which flows into the River Ouse. The town has a population of 14,000 people (2012 estimate).

Uckfield dates back to the late 13th century, when a bridge was built across the River Ult, and in time, a settlement developed at the bridging point. In the old days, Uckfield was a village that served as a stopover for travelers between Canterbury, Chichester and Lewes.

A chapel was built in Uckfield in 1291. Church Street, one of the oldest streets in town, developed from around here. It today has a large concentration of post-medieval buildings.

From London, take the A21 road until the interchange with the A26 road. Take the A26 towards Southborough and Royal Tunbridge Wells, and continue on the A26 until you reach Uckfield.
